We are a privately owned school that was founded in 1993. We have been located in Morris since 1993. Our Channahon location opened in August 2002.​

We are the largest arts center in Greater Grundy County serving close to one thousand students weekly. We cater mainly to children. About 75% of our students are between 2-8 years old. We welcome teen & adult students but our suburban market area has resulted in a student base of mainly children. We strive to provide a fun but educational environment with well-organized administration and first-rate equipment and facilities.​

There are many advantages to working at Forte including a positive working environment, set schedules and regular pay raises. We offer discounts for our employees’ children to classes and camps at Forte Arts Center.
